I have had 20 3 metre 100x100 off C&R and they are around £9 each, TP are £27 for the same post.

I do have to admit I have never seen anything bigger then the 100x100 there.

Actually I am lacking in addresses as I was going with the flow of us all being together for the day on convoy, people wishing to join can simply call one of us and we can let them know where we are at any one given time.

For the size pond you have which if I remember rightly was under 2000 gallons the 300 nexus would be overkill. You could go for a 200 or 210 if you wished.

But from a price perspective I would go neither.

Have you thought about getting a few vortex together and use them daisy chained with say a static K1 and fluidised K1 setup, much like many of the lads here have done.

Think I may have asked this before, are you a club member anywhere? it's always great to get out and about with a club and visit members ponds, that way you get a good understanding on what is involved.

It will also give you a great insight as to how complex the filters are and their maintenance procedures.

It would Donald, however from general feedback I have heard at shows events from people, not sure there has been many that have been put on for a considerable amount of time that could give you any benficial feedback.

Still i'll wait and hear, not that im interested in aquiring one.

Seems that Roto have done there advertisement well everyone seems to be talking abou them lately however I have yet to see any concrete feedback or pictures of them in full flow.

To me it is to early days for these systems for me it is not ticking my boxes.

Sieve are tried and tested and a huge mechanical addition to any pond, but as for the Roto I think there are far better systems out on the market especially at that price.

Darren will make a great show chair and if it ain't broke, why fix it . The Winter Show is firmly set in our calender, what's also fab, is that most hobbyist will be resting their collections so no mucking about stopping feed etc, bit of clay and away we go ............ simples eeeek

I'm still gutted that we didn't get up north, so I will be there, showing or not, great gig

Can relate to a paste, an umprocessed pellet if you like.

Would include fishmeal, kelp, liver powder, semolina, milk proteins, cod liver oil, wheatgerm, breadcrumbs, betaine, garlic, spirulina, yeast,vitamin mineral supplement, crustacean meal, and one or two more ingredients.

Whats important is assimilation of the food, so in correct proportions to my mind would be an improvement on many overpriced overhyped pellets.
