Hi Rikki, Only issue will be getting the gas line up there. basically you have a separate Zone valve for the pond heat exchanger from the boiler, one zone valve controls the hot water to the radiators one feeds the pond heat exchanger. Rather than pulping anything that comes through the skimmer into finer bits by drawing through with a pump wouldn't a 4" gravity feed be more effective?

Have you a 2" outlet from your skimmer Gaz? Put a pinch point in by way of a 1.5" restriction and the water will form a vortex.

One of mine I have bored out to 2" and solved things, other is a job still to do.
