Well good evening KOIKeepers

First a huge thanks to Ian Franklin for being my taxi driver for the weekend, cheers fella a gentleman you are.
Well what can I say

I guess simply by saying probably one of the best Koi shows I have ever been to in UK, a well run show by a dedicated and commited Section, I think what the East Midlands have accomplished on their first show is remarkable and our hats should go off to this club for their efforts.
Not only that but they have now raised the bar and have set a standard that I think many shows will find hard to match, great stuff EMKC

Well what a day ! an early start at 05:45 from a chilly and frosty Essex, and the after clearing the M25 we had hardly been onto the M1 for 15 minutes before hitting 2-3 inches of snow

After a quick pit stop and McDonalds breakfast

it was onto the venue.
We all meet up outside there was 3 packed out cars of us, and a great turn out of KOIKeepers, we knew then we was going to have a great day full of laughs

Great to see a few familiar faces, bumped into Lynn & Maurice, Glen & Annette, Kevin Ellis, Mike Snadden, The Nippon gang and many others. Always great to catch up with everyone at these events seems a long way away last year.
Anyway, you all know my capabilities of photography so dont expect much

just some good old point and shoot pics, but i'll leave the other photography guru's to post later.
To all again thanks for the great day !
Thanks to Glen & Jackie and to Greg and also Bazkoi on taking and showing your Koi, much appeciated.
To the East Midlands Koi Club and especially to Mushio ! Awesome show roll on 2011 and see you all soon at the BKKS National.
Regards
