Hi Lee,

You will be well looked after with Greg and will be able to see one hands on

One thing we should start with is what are you water readings and why are you thinking of RO :?:

Hi Lee

It does depend on where you start from in terms of GH / KH and PH?

I'm a "big is beautiful" man myself, running a 4040 unit, great if you have sufficient mains pressure to operate without a pump, very expensive if you haven't. But at least this gives the option of kicking in the pump to deliver a decent volume of RO water IF the need arises, rather than spending weeks recovering your ideal TDS.

hi

Q why do i want ro

A i want to try to get my water as close as i can to mud pond water and increase my koi growth

Q what are my readings now

A finkoi is calling tommorrow and he is kindly taking some water to test the ph and tds with his hanna meter also going to test the water pressure and gh and kh while he is here.

the last time i tested the kh which a while ago  it was 4dh my ph is 7.8 - 8.0 but the hanna grow check i use needs a new probe but i am going to upgrade to the hanna full time meter that you all use. to be honest i have never tested for tds  until i know all these results then i will make my mind up about weather to go for ro or not.

lets hope my ph is 7.1 and tds 100 from the tap :D

regards lee
