Hi Guys

Whats the best way to source an Oxygen cylinder?

Don't need anything on a major scale but would be nice to have something to hand.

Dave

Hi Dave,

I think one of the best ways is to contact BOC as they will be needed to charge it up.

Hi Dave,

As Gazza said BOC or similar type firm, but you wont get it direct from them (BOC) they'll put you in touch with a local agent!!

Bear in mind there are several different types of oxygen, we use a mix of Nitrogen in Oxygen, type S.

You only pay a rental charge per month for the cylinder & every time you exchange the cylinder
your charged a "re-charge" fee, cant say what you'll pay for that becuase every agent charges different rates, delivery etc.

Our agent wanted to see our pet licence,& only that.

We used to source ours from BOC but you are charged for it every year you have the cylinder with them as a type of Standing charge, then you have the charge to top it up again.
We hope you find a bottle elsware as it would be cheaper.

Hi,

The only problem you have if you source a bottle cheaper elseware is when you come to fill it, and BOC have no record of the your registration, you will be landed with a right charge, i had this problem when a mate of mine came to refill a bottle he acquired and wanted to use my account, so beware,

Regards paul

Hi Dave

Glen gets ours from BOC outlet. You pay a yearly rental fee for the bottle and then pay for the bottle when you take it back for exchange/refil. No questions asked.

If you visit www.boconline.co.uk then storefinder you can search for your nearest retail outlet.

Hope this helps
Jackie
