I changed over middle of last year I think from Bg to EDF elecy and gas and i have just got my winter bill through

Pond was heated over the winter with a Elecro heater 3kw at temps of mainly 10c and at the really cold spell we had I drop to 8c for four weeks.

The pond has been in double numbers now for 4 weeks or so and in last 2 weeks up to 14c

Anyway the bill for the house since september till now including pond has worked out at £65 per month !!! :o

Lovely jubbly.

Graham

 That sounds very cheap Graham!

I thought we were doing well this month managing to get a better rate out of EON for both gas and leccy, our standing charge was £220 per month  but now down at £149 per month......

It looks like the next step is trying to work out what exactly is costing me so much to run..... :?

Mark I did forget to say my pond is only 2150 gallons and is also covered in a 25mm polycarb.

Still it gives others a good idea that you dont need to sell a Kidney to heat as long as your carefull and know your limits.

Hi G

I switched over from NPower to Britsh Gas a couple of years ago.

Got a welcome surprise Friday morning, cheque for £350 from Npower, taken them a mere 26 months to sort out the final meter readings!!  I'd forgotten about it long ago, so a real bonus, :D :D looks like I can afford to feed them for another month.
